International School of Monterrey, (hereinafter “The Company”) is committed to fully abide by the Federal Law for Protecting Data in Possession of Private Individuals of Mexico (hereinafter “The Law”) and to guarantee the confidentiality of its services on-line. We guarantee the confidentiality of the information provided by “Users”, with which we mean those persons who enter any of our websites through the use of some electronic device (cellular phone, Smart-phone, computer, tablet, etc.) regardless of whether or not they registered identifying themselves or not. The Company will protect any type of personal identification information (hereinafter “Personal Data”), shared by any means, and the use of such information shall be exclusively for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice. We encourage our Users to continue reading our Privacy Notice so they can understand how we will treat their information, if provided to us in using our services. Your Personal Data shall be treated pursuant to the principles of lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and responsibility under applicable law.

The Privacy Notice corresponds to the website www.isom.edu.mx The Privacy Notice of The Company does not cover the practices of companies not related to it, nor does it include people whom The Company neither employs nor manages. This Notice governs the terms and way in which Personal Data obtained will be treated, in order for Users to freely and of their own free will decide to provide The Company with Personal Data as required or which may be obtained from Users, as they subscribe or log onto the services provided by The Company or through its website (hereinafter The Website).

Responsible for Treating your Personal Data

The Company, with address at Autlán # 103, Col. Mitras Sur, Monterrey N.L, Mexico C.P. 64920, shall be responsible for collecting, storing, using and protecting the Personal Data requested.

Collection and Use of Information

Personal Data is defined as the set of User data User which allows him or her to be identified. Personal Data include, but are not limited to, name, address, email, and telephone number. These are private data, in order words; they are not available to the public. Personal Data requested at the Website are as follows:

The Company collects personal information from Users registering to use certain Company products or services. The collection and automated treatment of Personal Data has the purpose of maintaining the contractual relationship established with The Company, for managing, administering, providing, expanding, and improving the services to which Users may wish to subscribe, enter into, or use the adaptation of such services to the preferences and tastes of Users, the study of service utilization by Users, designing new services related to such services, upgrades of such services, and relaying, through traditional and electronic methods, technical, operational, and commercial information about products and services provided by The Company and/or third parties, currently and in a future privacy notice. Personal Data may be transferred, stored, and processed in a country other than where they were provided, in which case, the information shall be conveyed in accordance to applicable information protection law. People providing their telephone numbers may receive calls from The Company to advise about new products and services or invitations to events. The same may occur via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive such calls or emails, please send your full name and phone number to info@isom.mx to request removal from our contact data base. The purpose for automated collection and treatment of Personal Data also includes sending out of survey forms that the User is not under obligation to answer. In order to receive a timely and satisfactory response to their requirements and needs, Users guarantee that the Personal Data provided to The Company are true, and therefore become responsible for communicating to The Company any changes in them.

The Company does not ask for Sensitive Personal Data on its Website.

ARCO Rights and How to Exercise Them

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 17, Section II of the Federal law for the Protection of Personal Data in the hands of Private Individuals, the ARCO Rights are understood as the rights every individual can exercise with regards to the treatment of personal data. Each letter in the acronym represents a different right: ACCESS The owner of the Personal Data has the right to request and get, free of cost, information about his/her Personal Data subjected to treatment by those responsible for the repository where the origin of said data is found, as well as the communications carried out or to be carried out with same. REVISION The owner of the Personal Data has the right to request and get, free of cost, to revise or correct his/her Personal Data which may be incomplete or inaccurate as treated by those responsible for said Data. CANCELLATION The owner has the right to request and get, free of cost, the cancellation of his/her Personal Data, when the treatment of same does not comply with the provisions of the LFPFPPP or which have ceased to be necessary or relevant for the purpose for which they were originally collected or recorded by those responsible for the data base. OPPOSITION This the expression of the will of the owner which advises those responsible for the data base, of his/her desire to keep his/her Personal Data from being subjected to a specific treatment. The Company guarantees and permits Users to exercise these ARCO rights as regards to the treatment of their Personal Data. The owner may ask The Company, at any time, to have access to such information, to revise in case of mistakes, to request that his/her Data are cancelled from the data bases, and oppose treatment by sending an email to: info@isom.mx Only the owner of such Data may request access, revision, cancellation or opposition, and therefore in this type of applications, they will be asked to verify their identity or that of their legal representative.

Sharing and Disclosing Information

The Company does not sell or rent the personal information of its Users to anyone. The Company will share Personal Data provided by User when:
  • User authorizes sharing such information.
  • The Company needs to share such information in order to be able to provide User with a service he/she has requested.
  • The Company needs to send such information to companies working for it and which help it to provide a product or service to the User (unless we state otherwise, such companies CANNOT use the Data referred for any purpose other than specified by The Company).
  • The Company has the need to respond to judicial citations and/or legal proceedings.

Cookies

The Company may place cookies in your computer and also have access to them. The Company uses cookies when a User is browsing through the website, such cookies are only associated with an anonymous User and computer, and do not provide references allowing to deduce the first and last name of User. The Company’s cookies cannot read the data in your hard disk, nor can they read the cookie files created by other suppliers. Thanks to the cookies, it is possible for The Company to recognize registered Users after they register for the first time, without having to register every time they visit, in order to have access to the areas and services reserved exclusively for them. The personal information in your account is protected by a password. Account holders have the right to resort to the Federal Institute of Access to Information and Data Protection (IFAI) of Mexico if they feel their right to the protection of their personal data has been violated.

Amendments to this Privacy Notice

The Company reserves the right to amend this notice in order to adapt it to new legislation or jurisprudence, as well as to industry practices, in which case, The Company shall announce in this page, any changes introduced with sufficient advance as it deems reasonable before putting them into practice. Certain services provided in or through the Website may contain particular conditions with specific provisions regarding Personal Data protection, in such case, Users shall be subject to the privacy policies and conditions mentioned specifically in the agreement governing such services.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of the International School of Monterrey Website, Users state they have read, understood and accepted the terms of the Privacy Notice hereinabove, maintaining a legal agreement between User and The Company. If Users are not in agreement with the terms, they should not use the services of the Website nor provide their Personal Data.
